Neil first heard a member of an audience shout "Macca !" (Sir Paul's nickname in the UK and Europe) at a local music gig in 1997, whilst he was playing current and popular chart hits to an appreciative Liverpool audience. At first, confused by what he heard, it was later explained to him that the ladies in the crowd thought he looked like Paul McCartney!

Although it took Neil several years to fully realise the career potential of having the "McCartney face", when in 2005 he sent a picture of himself to a leading London lookalike agency he was booked straight away to appear in a TV advert for Channel 4, advertising a new radio station. It seemed there was a possibility of a new career direction!

Being a musician anyway, it seemed the natural thing to do a full musical tribute to Paul McCartney, The Beatles and Wings, so Neil set about perfecting his tribute act.

Neil also began to undertake lookalike work as "Sir Paul" for all the major UK TV channels, as well as European TV and many advertising campaigns for services and products. One of the most recent being a TV ad for a top Croatian beer.

The ultimate accolade was being hand picked by Paul McCartney himself to work as his "double" on his music video for the hit song "Dance Tonight" in 2007. Neil has worked for Paul on other occasions too.

Both musical and lookalike video clips can be found in the Media area of this site. Further clips can be heard and viewed from Neils' My Space site

Neil has taken his musical show all over the UK, and several Countries in Europe. In May 2008 he crossed the "pond" and played in Las Vegas at the famous Imperial Hotel, home to the well established "Legends" of pop show.

In December 2009 Neil formed a 4 piece band.

The band recreate the full experience of McCartney gigs and you can find more details and photos in the Band section of this site.
