Steve "Shunter " Hunter ... guitar and Vocals Steve Hunter has been playing guitar and singing for over 30 years in many bands throughout Merseyside, and also as a solo act He is a lover of all things 'Beatle', and has followed Paul McCartney's career closely over the years. Steve says 'The thing I enjoy most about Paul's work is the vocal harmonies. Very few bands do that sort of thing these days. It's great fun recreating it'
Steve "Da Law" Lawson ... guitar , bass , keyboards, vocals Been playing live locally for years and years!!! As alter ego Dirk Diggler also a member of 70s disco band Superbad for 10 years, playing keys and harmonies. Former bands played in, include: That 60s Show (with fellow Macca Steve Hunter), Pyjama Party (With fellow Macca Chuck B), the Duo Swing of Things, going back into the 80s was in original bands Look Out Oscar and Dante. My claim to fame Beatle wise, is taking part in a jam with Julian Lennon in 1975, when he was 12 in the school holidays (he was a friend of the younger brother of a bandmate in my first band, when he went to Kings mead School in Meols) .
Colin Gort ... piano , keyboards , percussion , backing vocals Fortunate to have been a teenager during the 1960's and has fond memories of the expectation surrounding the release of Beatles records. Many year's experience playing in local cabaret, pop, rock and soul bands. He particularly enjoys the challenge of re-creating the keyboard, brass, string and other sounds of yesterday; a task made easier with the use of modern synths. Equipment - Roland RD700SX stage piano, Korg Triton synth, amplification either by Roland KC550 or Behringer power amp and Mackie speakers, Shure SM57 microphone.
Chuck B ... drums Chuck played his first gig at Calday Grammar School on 10.12.82. Recently recorded with: Dream Legion, Red Voix, The Trestles, Focal Point, Kiljoy, Narcolepsy, Throat Horse and Junk Monkey Chuck has joined The Macca Band to supply authentic rock and roll drums to the mix.
